What to say! ... I have been working in the design industry for about 18 years, either as a designer, art director or illustrator and sometimes all of them at the same time! I have had no formal computer training, (no computers when I was at college, do you remember marker pens and layout pads)! As for software I use Poser 4, Bryce 5, Photoshop 6 and Illustrator 8.
I am 40, married with 2 kids and live in Bristol England, work for a small design agency, but also do personal design and illustration work from home.
The Deadrise comic has been in my head for a while, I can honestly say I found it one of the most difficult things to get looking right, not to mention the long render times and the huge amount of postwork involved.
A big thanx to Mitch for hosting it here at Weirdass, also thanx to Mark Griffith@digitalsurgery (on Renderosity) who has offered to put this comic together as a short animated project. More pages will follow soon, in the meantime have a look at some of my other illustration work on Renderosity:
